Meteorological Analysis
|
Tropical depression 7 originated from a tropical wave which moved off the coast
of Africa on September 1st. The wave moved WNW under the sub-tropical
ridge and remained disorganized for a few days. On September 7th however,
the wave gained enough organization to be considered a tropical depression.
Shear quickly increased right after genesis though, and convection was stripped from
the center. The depression briefly became a remnant swirl before dissipating on the 8th about 850 nm SE of Bermuda.
